Founded in 1996, Inforex is a private Canadian company specialized in research, analysis, interpretation and communication of international Science & Technology Intelligence.
Inforex covers all the main sectors of industry and innovation : aerospace, defence, information technologies, energy, life sciences, biotechnology, robotics, lasers, electronics, environment, materials, advanced manufacturing processes, medical imaging, pharmaceuticals, etc.
Working with research & development teams (industries, laboratories), government organizations and financial societies (banks, venture capital, etc.), Inforex provides the knowledge required to make innovation-related projects move forward. Also, the company often acts as the critical link between scientists and business development teams, helping to build solid commercialization plans for innovative technologies and products that resulted from research.

The logo
The Inforex logo is a Celtic knot with four intertwined branches representing the four elements : energy, solid matter, liquid matter and gaseous matter. All activities of scientific research, technology innovation and engineering are related to at least one of those elements.
In heraldic tradition, the blue color represents engineering and the gold color, science.
