Electorate Nominating Committee, Industrial Science & Technology, AAAS


February 2009 - Mr Robert Boily, president and founder of Inforex Inc., has been elected member of the Electorate Nominating Committee, Industrial Science & Technology, at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), Washington, D.C.

He will serve a three-year term until 2012.

Publishing of the book « Canada and the Society of Knowledge »


December 2007 - The University of Ottawa has published a new book titled " Canada and the Society of Knowledge " (Le Canada et la société des savoirs). Mr Robert Boily, president and founder of Inforex Inc., had been invited by the " Canada Research Chair on Social and Cultural Challenges in a Knowledge-Based Society " (directed by professor Patrick Imbert) to participate in the production of this book. He wrote a chapter about science and technology knowledge and, more especially, on the problems and challenges facing S&T knowledge at the dawn of the 21st century.

Inforex is selected to be part of the QBIC Consulting Network


February 2007 - Inforex Inc. has been selected by the Quebec Biotechnology Innovation Center (QBIC) to be part of its network of consulting experts, in order to support start-up enterprises in life sciences. Founded in 1995, the QBIC is an incubator of start-up biotechnology corporations that is located in the City of Biotechnology and Human Health of Metropolitan Montreal.
