Publishing of the book «Canada and the Society of Knowledge»

The University of Ottawa has published a new book titled " Canada and the Society of Knowledge " (Le Canada et la société des savoirs). Mr. Robert Boily had been invited by the " Canada Research Chair on Social and Cultural Challenges in a Knowledge-Based Society " (directed by professor Patrick Imbert) to participate in the production of this book. He wrote a chapter about science and technology knowledge and, more especially, on the problems and challenges facing S&T knowledge at the dawn of the 21st century. This text was the theme of the 25th McGovern Conference on Science and Society (Washington, DC, 2008).
